(May 5, 2023 11:52 AM ET) The 75th playing of the Jackson Masters golf tournament is set for June 3-4 at the Country Club of Jackson. The Jackson Masters is open to all amateur golfers who are residents of Jackson County, as well as those who meet one of three criteria: They graduated from a Jackson County high school or college; previously played in a Jackson Masters or City Championship; or are employed in the county.
The 36-hole stroke play event will have a cut to the low 40 and ties for the second round if there are 50 or more entrants. If there are 49 or fewer, all players will play the second round.
Entry fee is $120, or $75 for high school students. Registration can be made on-line at jacksongolf.net. Entry forms are also available at the Country Club of Jackson, Cascades, Sharp Park and Arbor Hills pro shops. Entry deadline is May 31 at 5 p.m.
