County National Bank has announced a series of promotions approved by the Board of Directors of the bank.
Ron Haber has been promoted to Vice President – Commercial Loans from his current level of 2nd Vice President – Commercial Loan Officer. During Ron’s 39-year banking career, 13 at CNB, he has developed a reputation for dedication to his customers and community. Ron also oversees the lending portion of compliance regulations. Ron is a member of the Hudson Chamber of Commerce, Hudson Foundation, Knights of Columbus, Sacred Heart Finance Committee and treasurer for the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Lenawee. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management of Organizational Development from Spring Arbor University. Ron, and his wife Terri, reside in Hudson.
Dave Kreger has been promoted to Vice President – Commercial Loans from his current level of 2nd Vice President – Commercial Loan Officer. He will continue his responsibilities as a commercial lender for the Jackson market area in addition to supervision of the commercial lenders and loan staff. Dave has over forty years of banking experience, eight with CNB, joining in February of 2010. His experience is in collections, mortgage and commercial lending and business development in the Jackson area. He is active with the Jackson United Way and resides in the Jackson area.
Brenda L. Carpenter, Assistant Vice President -Mortgage Origination has been promoted to 2nd Vice President – Mortgage Origination. Brenda has made a career in banking for over 40 years, 30 have been in mortgage lending in the Jackson, Hillsdale and Lenawee area. Since joining CNB in 2010, Brenda has been an outstanding performer as a residential mortgage loan officer. In her position, Brenda will transition from mortgage lender to overseeing the Bank’s growing residential mortgage team. Brenda is a member of Jackson Area Association of Realtors (JAAR) and the Home Builders Association of Jackson (HBAJ). Brenda is a lifetime resident of Jackson, where she and her husband continue to reside.
Kelly L. Lantis, Assistant Vice President –Commercial Credit has been promoted to 2nd Vice President – Commercial Credit. Kelly has been with County National Bank for 30 years, with her experience and education, Kelly provides strong leadership and management to the commercial staff. Kelly is a graduate of Hillsdale College with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in finance. She has also actively pursued training and education over the years relative to her career with the Bank. She is an active member of Hillsdale Woman’s Club, Chi-Omega Sorority Advisory Board, Hillsdale Township Treasurer and Hillsdale Community Foundation Board Member. She resides in Hillsdale with her family.
Chad E. Rumsey, Assistant Vice President – Commercial Loan Officer was promoted to 2nd Vice President – Commercial Loan Officer. He will continue to develop strong relationships, focusing in the Jackson market area, as a commercial lender. Chad joined CNB in January of 2012 with fifteen years of banking in commercial lending, retail banking and treasury management. He has Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Grand Valley State University. Rumsey is active with the Jackson United Way and resides in the Grass Lake area.
Rebecca (Becky) J. Wiley has been promoted from Assistant Vice President – Director of Human Resources to 2nd Vice President – Human Resources. Becky joined our team in August of 2011 as an HR Specialist & Staff Development; bringing 22 years of HR experience through a local manufacturing company. Becky received her Associate’s Degree in Applied Sciences from the Northwest State Community College. She is dual certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and an SHRM – Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and South Central Society for Human Resources Management Association (SCHRMA). Becky is an active member of her church, attends community events representing the Bank, and volunteers in the community. She and her family reside in the Hillsdale area.
Karla Enbody has been promoted to Consumer Loan Officer from Consumer Lender. Karla has been in the banking industry for over 20 years, 17 of which have been with CNB. Throughout her career, Karla has worked in various capacities. Most recently, she served as Consumer Lender, and previously as a Loan Processor. Karla’s long career and knowledge combined with her on the job training have helped to prepare her for her new role.
Karla is very involved in the community. She participates in the Hillsdale Exchange Club, Buddy Reading Program, Project Red, and financial education events. She and her family reside in Litchfield.
Stephanie Thomas has been promoted to from Loan Operations Manager to Loan Operations Officer. Stephanie started her banking career at CNB in 2000. She started her career as a New Accounts Representative and transitioned to several positions in the past 18 years. Her work in the loan department began in 2008. In 2016 she was appointed Loan Operations Manager. She also serves as a compliance administrator for the bank. Stephanie has a degree in Business Management. She graduated from the Perry School of Banking and completed the ABA National Compliance School for Lending. She stays active in the community through her involvement with 4-H, the Hillsdale County Fair and local athletics. She and her family reside in Hillsdale County.
Brandy Titus has been promoted from Mortgage Loan Originator to Mortgage Officer. Brandy brings 11 years of banking and real estate experience to this position, with four years at CNB. Brandy’s previous experience, high loan production and stellar customer service will assist her in this role. Brandy received her degree in Business from Baker College. She is involved with the Hillsdale Exchange Club, Project RED and the Hillsdale County Board of Realtors. She and her family reside in Osseo.
