The Jackson Masters Golf Tournament will return to The Grande Golf Club when the tournament’s 72nd edition is played Aug. 8 and 9.

The Grande first hosted the Jackson Masters in 2018, when Logan Anuszkiewicz won in a playoff over David Crandall. Both players finished with a total of 146.

Steve Maddalena won the tournament in 2019 with a two-day total of 138. Maddalena is a six-time winner of the event, one behind Mike Brockie for the most wins in the event.

The 36-hole stroke play event is open to all amateur golfers who are residents of Jackson County, as well as those who meet one of three criteria: They graduated from a Jackson County high school or college; previously played in a Jackson Masters or City Championship; or are employed in the county.

The entry fee is $120, or $75 for high school students.

Entry forms are available at The Grande, Country Club of Jackson, Cascades, Sharp Park, and Arbor Hills pro shops. Registration can also be made online at jacksongolf.net.

Entry deadline for the event is Aug. 5 at 5 p.m.
