TransPharm Preclinical Solutions President and CEO Dan Ross has purchased the former Ford mill plant in Brooklyn and has embarked on an ambitious development plan to create an entertainment and food destination complex. When complete, the campus will house an Irish pub and restaurant (Old Irish Mill), year-round farmers market, 150 seat patio, canoe and kayak livery, winter skating rink and more. The former Ford Motor Company plant was built by Henry Ford as a village industry plant on the River Raisin. The building sits at the location of the Swain’s Mill, built in 1834 that built the village of Brooklyn.
