Artist and Designer Dominic Pangborn, who grew up in Jackson, is making several contributions of his artwork to Ella Sharp Museum, St. Mary’s School and Lumen Christi High School this fall. Dominic, known for his philanthropy as well as his talents, recently finished in 3rd place at ArtPrize and a gallery exhibit of his work at Ella Sharp Museum is winding up. This month he is opening a new gallery and retail store in downtown Ann Arbor. The world-renowned artist has artwork in prestigious galleries and museums, including the Detroit Institute of Arts. The store, on Main Street will have a grand opening on Thursday, October 23. Other guests: Congressman Tim Walberg; a visit to Little Acorns Pre-School at Dahlem; Kriss Giannetti, The Community Bowl; Amy Thomson, McDonald’s; Pet of the Week with Sue Lovell, Cascades Humane Society.
