Yoga at Meijer Branch, Jackson District Library.  Stop by the Meijer Branch every Friday at 8:30 a.m. and let Jeanette Lamphere teach you yoga. Suggested donation of $3. Intended for adults.

The Michigan Theatre presents “Friday Night Films” all through the month of February.  For all films, doors open at 6:30 PM, film starts at 7 PM.  Admission is $5.  Members of the Michigan Theatre get in free to all Friday Night Films in February.  Tonight’s film:  “Hidden Figures”.

In honor of Black History Month, SAU Hearts Drama presents “The Old Settler,” a play by John Henry Redwood. “The Old Settler” will be shown in Spring Arbor University’s (SAU) Prop at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for students, staff, faculty and alumni are $5. General admission is $8.  Reserve seats by emailing your name, the date you would like to attend and the number of tickets you would like to reserve to dramatickets@arbor.edu.

The Jackson Coffee Company presents live entertainment with Jen Sygit.  Jen now has three albums under her belt with her latest” So Long Pollyanna.” to be released on Earthwork Music in May ’09. Her release “Leaving Marshall St.” was nominated for a Detroit Music Award.  7 PM to 10 PM, Jackson Coffee Company, Downtown Jackson. 

Center Stage Jackson presents The Odd Couple – Female Version Dinner Theatre at Sandhill Crane Vineyards.  Friday and Saturday night at 7 PM, Sunday at 4 PM.  Tickets are $40 per person and include a three course dinner.  Reservations must be made in advance here

Music on Main Street.  Join us at the Concord Branch.   Every Saturday from 12-2 p.m., join us for an impromptu music jam! The Concord Branch Opera House will be open to the public. Bring your instrument (piano provided) and practice some music. Intended for teens & adults.

God meets gambling in “Late Nite Catechism Las Vegas: Sister Rolls the Dice.” The convent needs a new roof, so the order has decided that Sister (with her extensive gambling experience running the church Bingo for the last 25 years) will organize a Las Vegas night! Sister will tackle topics ranging from Magicians and Show Girls to live animal acts and the dangers of drive-through marriage chapels. Don’t forget: “What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas,” but God sees everything!  Reserved tickets $30, students $25.  7 PM, Potter Center, Jackson College.  Tickets:  iccmi.edu , 517-796-8600.

The Jackson Women’s History Council Presents: Celebrating Inspirational Women:  41st Annual Susan B. Anthony Award and Emerging Leader Awards.  The Jackson Women’s History Council established the awards 41 years ago in recognition of Susan B. Anthony to honor her legacy, and celebrate the contemporary achievements of women and men. This event takes place at Cascades Manor House on Sunday, February 25th from 3:00pm – 5:00pm.  To RSVP, email cpoisson@jamichiganedge.com
