Story Walk at the Meijer Branch, Jackson District Library.   Promote reading and wellness in a fun new way with a story walk! Stroll around the library and read a book. This year’s book is Mighty, Mighty Construction Site by Sherri Duskey Rinker.   9 AM to 8 PM.

Book Sale.  Presented by the Friends of the Spring Arbor Branch, Jackson District Library.  Friends of the Library are having their spring book sale. Stop in and see what treasures you can find!   Monday, May 21 & 23 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.

Yoga at the Meijer Branch, Jackson District Library.  Join us at the Meijer Branch! Stop by the Meijer Branch every Monday and Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., and Friday at 8:30 a.m. and let Jeanette Lamphere teach you yoga. Suggested donation of $3. Intended for adults.

Jackson School of the Arts Mixed Media Class.  Beginner to Advanced students indulge your love of art and grow at your own pace in this small studio setting. Learn the basics of pain application, color mixing, color theory, value, and composition. Meet with some friends and your art instructor for individualized instructions in a small group setting. Learn new weekly techniques with hands-on demonstrations and gain confidence in your own skills as a painter.  6:45 PM, Jackson School of the Arts, 634 N. Mechanic Street, Jackson.
