50th Annual Home & Garden Show. American 1 Event Center in Jackson.  Presented by Consumers Energy.  The Home & Garden Show is celebrating 50 years, and this milestone year is shaping up to be our biggest and most exciting event yet. Meet trusted local builders, remodelers, landscapers, and home improvement pros while enjoying unique experiences all weekend long. 90 plus exhibitors featuring home, garden, and lifestyle inspiration  Girls Night Out on Friday night with live music, free drinks, appetizers, women themed booths, and a show floor scavenger hunt  Local Food & Beer Garden on Saturday featuring local favorites  KidsZone on Sunday with a Learn to Build clinic from The Home Depot and the first 100 kids receiving a $50 Savings Account FREE courtesy of Community Choice Credit Union.  Friday, February 27: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, February 28: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Sunday, March 1: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The Play That Goes Wrong. 7 PM. Center Stage Jackson presents the comedy, “The Play That Goes Wrong”, directed by Diego Febres-Cordero.  Disasters, accidents, forgotten lines — and that’s just the first five minutes! The Play That Goes Wrong is a comedy where nothing goes right, and that’s exactly what makes it so right. Get ready to laugh from curtain up to final bow!  Baughman Theatre, Potter Center at Jackson College. Info and tickets here.

St. Mary Lenten Fish Fry. 4 PM to 7 PM.  $17 per meal.  2 pieces of fried or baked cod, french fries, mac & cheese, cole slaw, and dessert.  In Star Hall, lower level of church, at corner of Wesley and Mechanic Streets, every Friday during Lent.   All proceeds go to St. Mary Child Development Center.  Dine in, drive thru, or carry out.

Queens Friday Fish Dinner. 4:30 PM to 7 PM.  Join us Fridays during Lent for the Knights of Columbus Fish Fry.  Fish, baked or fried, fish tacos, vegetable, french fries, mac & cheese, cole slaw, pizza, drinks and dessert.  Adults $16, $15 for seniors and students, $13 for active military, $7 for ages 7 and under.  Family rate available.  Drive thru meals $14.  Queens School Cafeteria.

Our Lady of Fatima Lenten Fish Fry.  Join us at Our Lady of Fatima for our Annual Lenten Fish Fry! Enjoy an all‑you‑can‑eat dinner featuring fried and baked fish, classic sides, and homemade desserts. Bring family, friends, and neighbors for great food and warm community fellowship. Hosted every Friday from February 20 through March 27, 4–7 PM, in Fr. Dunne Hall.

Stuff the Bus.  Michigan Center Transportation, along with staff & students is collecting donations to help the Jackson Co. Animal Shelter. If you go to their website they have Wish List. You may drop off your donations at 400 S. State St., Transportation Department,  across from the High School between 7am & 5pm the week of February 23rd thru the 27th.You may also send them in with your children as we have donation boxes in all three school buildings. Our four legged friend’s thank you for your donations.

Cascades Manor Open House. 1 PM to 4 PM.  You’re invited to the Cascades Manor 3rd Annual Open House.  Join us for a tour, hors d’oeuvres, and a meet and greet with our General Manager and Event Coordinator.  1970 Kibby Road, Jackson.  Free and open to the public.

The Jackson MI Chorale presents American Musicals.  7 PM.  Cultivating 250 years, join us for this Cabaret event at JSO Weatherwax Hall.  Also featuring Jackson College’s Vocal Point the the Jackson Children’s Chorale.  Box seats $15, balcony $5.  Tickets:  jaxmichorale.org/tickets.

Phil Vassar’s “25 Years of Paradise” Tour. The Potter Center at Jackson College will welcome country music favorite Phil Vassar to its stage at 7 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2026, as part of his “25 Years of Paradise” Tour, celebrating the 25th anniversary of his breakout hit, “Just Another Day in Paradise.” Known as country music’s leading piano man, Vassar has earned 10 No. 1 singles and more than two dozen Top 40 hits, including “Carlene,” “Six-Pack Summer,” and “Just Another Day in Paradise.” His piano-driven sound blends heartfelt storytelling with melodies influenced by artists such as Billy Joel, Elton John, and Bruce Hornsby.
