Grand River Farmers Market. 9 AM to 2 PM. You’re invited to join us riverside for a healthy dose of good food, good music, and good community! We’ve got dozens of weekly rotating vendors offering Seasonal fruits & veggies, meats, cheeses, coffee, honey, pasta, artisan breads, baked goods, dairy, plants, flowers, bath and body, hand-crafted artisan wares, and more! Fall Cocktail Party at Veritas. 6 PM. You’re invited to the Veritas Fall Cocktail Party! Girls Night Out: Halloween Burlesque Dancing. Ages 21+ Dance the night away with your besties as you enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres while your instructor guides you through burlesque dance. This costume-themed excursion will let you dust off your favorite costume and heels. Join us for this fun night out and celebrate the Halloween season! Chris Beard – Blues Legend – “Pass It On Down”. 8 PM. Chris Beard is a modern blues guitarist and singer like no other. His personal connections to the blueswere forged with the living blues men he sat with since childhood.Born in 1957, Beard is the son of blues guitarist, Joe Beard, who grew up on Beale Street in the 1950s.When family friends like Matt “Guitar” Murphy and Buddy Guy stopped by to visit, young Beard became their willing pupil. Daniel Mason Live at Ironbark. 7 PM to 10 PM. Daniel’s been all over and is returning to our neck of the woods! Daniel has toured all over the US & Europe as the banjo player for Hank 3, IV & The Strange band, shared the stage with countless other top names, and recorded on numerous albums. He has set out to carve his own path in the music industry as a solo artist. Daniel opened for Amigo the Devil on his fall 2023 tour, performed at Muddy Roots, and has toured extensively solo for the last 3 years. Ironbark Brewing Company, 2610 Kibby Road.

JSO 75th Anniversary Celebration: Rhapsody in Blue. The Jackson Symphony Orchestra’s Classical Concert Series kicks off its 75th season with a centennial celebration of Rhapsody in Blue, blending French elegance and American jazz in a night of symphonic brilliance. The first concert of the season will be held at 7:30 p.m. on October 19, 2024, at the Potter Center and will feature guest artists Marika Bournaki, piano and the Ellipsos Quartet, saxophone. Beginner Sweetheart Waltz Experience. 5 PM to 6 PM. Step into an enchanting world of grace and romance with a one-hour Sweetest Day Waltz experience! Michigan Singer Songwriter Showcase. 2 PM. Join us for the Michigan Songwriter’s Showcase at the historic Michigan Theatre of Jackson! Hosted by Ray Kamalay, this monthly event features local talent and new songwriters. 4th Annual Vocal Point High School Choral Invitational. 4 PM. Celebrate Jackson County’s young vocalists at the High School Choral Invitational Festival on Sunday, Oct. 20, 4 p.m. in the Potter Center.
