Events of Independence Day, Wednesday, July 4, 2018

Hanover-Horton 4th of July Celebration.  Events today are Pancake Breakfast from 7 AM to 11 AM at American Legion Post 270, Hanover Firecracker 5 Mile Run/5KWalk 8 AM in Hanover, Parade and Car Registration at 9 AM (Parade at 11 AM);   3 on 3 Basketball, Bar B Que, Entertainment, Car Show, Museum Tours, Food, Kids Activities; Tournaments and more all day long.  Fireworks at dusk (between the Village and American Legion Ball Diamonds.  Complete details at www.hh4thofjuly.com

The Nixon Water Park has open sessions today.  Hours are 11 AM to 2 PM, 2:15 PM to 5:15 PM and 5:30 PM to 7 PM.  $4 per person.  Evening session is $2.  Ten swim passes are available for $32 (2 free sessions).  There is a picnic area and light concessions are available for purchase.  Patrons are allowed to bring in small coolers (no glass containers).  Nixon Water Park, 400 East North Street.

Field Of Flight Airshow & Balloon Festival, final day today at W. K. Kellogg Airport, 15551 S Airport Rd, Battle Creek.  11 AM to 10 PM.
