Gingerbread Escape Room at the Carnegie Library. Oh no, the gingerbread man is locked in the oven! Solve the puzzles and riddles to get him out just in time! This escape room experience at the Carnegie Library is perfect for small groups (up to 8 people), families, and everyone ages 6+. Sessions today are 10 AM, 11 AM, 2 PM, 3 PM, 4 PM. Winter Kids Series: The Wild Robot. Join us for a free screening of The Wild Robot, a heartwarming animated film based on the popular book by Peter Brown. Follow the journey of Roz, a robot who awakens on a remote island and learns to adapt to her new environment. Julia Child: A Recipe for Life. Ella Sharp Museum presents Julia Child: A Recipe for Life, exploring the key ingredients in Julia’s personal journey, which became part of America’s culinary revolution, through a series of immersive experiences. Julia’s insatiable curiosity and tenacious spirit drove her to endlessly try, test, and teach how to make delicious food. Learning empowered Julia and she in turn empowered others, profoundly transforming American cuisine and food culture. Tuesday – Friday: 10 am – 5 pmm Saturday: 11:30am – 4pm, Sunday – Monday: Closed. Ella Sharp Museum Online Auction from the Collection of Laurice and Robert LaZebnik. Laurie and Robert LaZebnik have been promoting and supporting the arts in Jackson for decades. This selection is from their long-term private collection. Pieces by Jackson artist Ruth Moller Smith and others with Jackson connections will be sold through silent auction. Donated by Laurie for the purpose of fundraising, it is with her support that we can make them available to you, our public. We are grateful for the LaZebnik’s support through the years.
