Friday, January 5

Grand River Farmers Market.  The Grand River Farmers Market crew has moved inside for their first winter market!  Found Church, 141 E Michigan Ave, Jackson.  Open Fridays 10-3.  November thru April.

Winter Game Night at Sandhill Crane Vineyards.  5 PM to 8 PM.  Start the year off with game nights every first Friday of the month during the months of January, February & March! Look forward to seeing new games at the winery but feel free to bring any from home! Escape from the Toy Factory.  10 AM to 6 PM.  You’ve inherited a fantastical toy factory from an eccentric relative, but the missing deed must be recovered from its whimsical offices before the clock runs out!  This escape room experience at the Carnegie Library is intended for ages 6+ and registration is required.  January 5: 10 AM, 11 AM, 12 PM, 3 PM, 4 PM (Register at https://buff.ly/46Sghwn).

Girls Night Out.  6 PM to 7:30 PM.  We all know that it’s coat and boot season, but it is time to strap on your heels. We are offering another heels class for all the ladies and gents, who are feeling fun and flirty. Enjoy some light appetizers and a glass of wine as we dance to a holiday-inspired song. The Classic Vibes Live at Ironbark.  7 PM.  The Classic Vibes are coming to Ironbark to play all the hits from the 50s, 60s, and 70s!  Ironbark Brewing Company, 2610 Kibby Road, Jackson.

5-Second Rule Live at Mancino’s.  6 PM to 9 PM.  Come on down to Mancino’s from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M. Music to be performed by 5-Second Rule. It will be a rocking good time.  3017 Wildwood Avenue, Jackson.

Gruv’n at Enchanted Forest.  8 PM.  Gruv’n rocks Enchanted Forest Friday, January 5 and Saturday, January 6, from 8 pm to midnight. Be there!  Enchanted Forest Bar and Grill and Banquet Hall, 3705 Ann Arbor Road, Jackson.

Date Night Relief Sculpting.  6 PM to 9 PM. The Jackson Makerspace is hosting their take on date night. This is a night of art, food and socialization. Whether it is a first-time date, a night oit with the spouse or even just a couple of friends looking for something to do, date night is the go-to for fun. Attendees will receive all materials and instruction to create relief sculptures, this will be a 2 to 3-hour event. The event will be catered by Grand River Brewery, food and drinks provided (over 21 byob encouraged). On-site childcare is available by donation. Kevin Pluta Spaghetti Dinner Benefit.  4 PM to 8 PM.  Join friends and family and show your support to Kevin and Jen. Kevin was recently diagnosed with Glioblastoma, which is currently the size of a lemon and inoperable. Friends and family are coming together in support as Kevin undergoes treatment. Our goal is the help ease the financial burden that comes with weekly trips for treatment and appointments in Ann Arbor as well as the time they will be unable to work as Kevin receives treatment. Snowman Sip and Paint.  12 PM.  Come join us in painting this beautiful winter Snowman. Our Amazingly talented Artist Cindy Rolf is back to help teach you how to paint such beautiful art and spark your creativity side. Cost includes all materials, drinks and a yummy charcuterie cups. This will make for a fun paint and sip night with your family or friends!
