Free COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic. The Jackson County Health Department and the Jackson Area Transportation Authority are sponsoring this free clinic, 10 AM to 2 PM. JATA Transfer Center, 127 West Cortland, Downtown Jackson. JCHD is offering two different vaccines to choose from so you can decide which one first you and your needs best: Pfizer, a 2 dose series for those 12 years and older, doses 21 days apart or Johnson and Johnson, a one-dose series for those 18 and older. The second dose of Pfizer will be offered on July 23 at the same location.

Cascades Independence Day Show and Fireworks. The Swift Brothers perform in front of the Cascades, followed by fireworks at dusk. The show starts at 6:30 PM. Admission is $7 per person, $5 for ages 4-12. Fireworks and entertainment sponsored by The Myers Family Little Caesars of Jackson and Jackson County Parks. Cascades Falls Park, Jackson.

ORS Running Series Hanover Firecracker 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run. Join us on July 4th for the Hanover Firecracker 5 mile and 5k! The start for both races will be from 8 to 8:10 am.
Tech shirts! Finish Line Towels! Tech Socks for age division awards! USATF Certified 5 Mile run starting and finishing on Main Street in downtown Hanover. 5K walk is an out and back course. FREE kids run: Starts at 9:15 am, approximately 3/4 K, Awards to all kids ages 12 and younger. Pricing: $25 until July 2nd. No shirt option $20 until July 2nd. $30 July 3rd No shirt option $25 on July 3rd Be sure to preregister for the race! There is no race day registration.
4th of July at Heritage Park and Conklin Museum, Hanover. 10 AM – 5 PM. Begin with the parade in downtown Hanover, and continue with food and fun at the Conklin Museum (open 1pm-5pm) and Heritage Park. Independence Day Celebration in Grass Lake. The 4th of July Parade starts at 10:00 AM at Grass Lake High School and ends at Grass Lake County Park. There will be a Chicken Broil picnic at the park sponsored by the Sportsman’s Club and the Cardboard Boat Race during the afternoon on Grass Lake. Fireworks sponsored by Tripp’s Auto Shop & Collision Center at dusk.
Brooklyn 4th of July Parade. There will be a July 4th Parade in the Village of Brooklyn. Staging will be at 12:30 p.m. at the Brooklyn Presbyterian Church parking lot (160 N.
