Fireworks at the Cascades.  Celebrate Independence Day at the Cascades.   The event includes food trucks and live music from the Sam Luna Band. The Falls open at 6 p.m. and the fireworks start at dusk.  Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for children 4 to 12 years old and free to children 3 years old and younger.

Albion Fireworks.  The Greater Albion Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau invites you to the 2023 Albion Fireworks as part of the Annual Fourth of July Celebration on Monday, July 3, 2023. This year’s fireworks by Night Magic Displays will take place at Barnes Park (400 Water Street) in Albion, Michigan at dusk.

Nixon Water Park.  The City of Jackson Nixon Water Park season is now underway.  Hours are Monday thru Saturday 11 AM to 3 PM, session price $5.  3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, session price $4.  Senior Swim:  Tuesday and Friday, 9 AM to 10:30 AM, session price $2.  Closed Sundays.  400 E. North Street at Cooper Street, Jackson.

ORS Running Series Hanover Firecracker 5 Mile Run/5K Walk, Kids Fun Run.  Join us on July 4th for the Hanover Firecracker 5 mile and 5k! The start for both races will 8 am.  Tech shirts! Tech Socks for age division awards!   USATF Certified 5 Mile run starting and finishing on main street in downtown Hanover.  5K walk is an out-and-back course.  FREE kids run starts at 9:15 am, approximately 3/4 K, Awards to all kids ages 12 and younger.   Well-organized event. Fast efficient scoring. Awards at 9:40 am. Parade and fun family activities after the run!   Packet pickup and Registration: Monday, July 3rd from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Lomar, 104 Main St. Hanover.  Race day packet pickup:  July 4th from 6:30 am to 7:50 am at Lomar.  Awards:  Run & Walk, Overall, Masters & Grand Masters, Male & Female.  The race will be chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Hanover-Horton 4th of July Celebration.  A full day of fun for the whole family.  7 AM to 11 AM:  Pancake Breakfast at American Legion Post 270, Basketball Tournament at 10:30 AM at Perrine Park, Car Show beginning at 10 AM, Parade at 12 Noon, H-H Lions Club Bar-B-Que follows the parade.  In the afternoon, Corn Hole Tournament, Youth Baseball Tournaments, Kids’ games, bounce house, concessions, arts/crafts, ice cream eating contest at 5 PM.  Windy Mountain Boys Band from 1 PM to 3 PM at Perrine Park.  Hanover’s Got Talent – Karaoke from 6 PM to 8 PM downtown.  Fireworks at dusk.

Grass Lake 4th of July Celebration.  We are celebrating our independence by having a parade, Chicken BBQ, and fireworks in Grass Lake. This is presented by a joint effort by the Grass Lake Sportsman Club and the American Legion Post 252 and VFW Post 10194.  The parade starts at 10 am. Cardboard boat races at Grass Lake County Park starting at 2:15 PM.   A Chicken BBQ following parade and then music until our evening fireworks over the lake presented by Crazy Joes Fireworks. Music and food trucks will be at the park throughout the day.

Brooklyn 4th of July.  Fireworks are coming back to Brooklyn! Held at dark on the field at the Upper Elementary School. Fourth of July parade at 10 AM on Main Street. A patriotic hat contest, a cake walk, art, music, and other activities.  A fireworks show is planned at Columbia Upper Elementary, 321 School St., with food trucks and other vendors.   Activities throughout the day for all ages.
