Grand River Farmers Market Downtown Market.  9 AM to 2 PM.  Grow Jackson invites you the Grand River Farmers Market at the downtown pavilion.  Come on down and reconnect… We’ve got dozens of your favorite vendors ready to go with seasonal fruits & veggies, flowers, beef, chicken, eggs, pork, cheeses, honey, syrup, pasta, dairy, artisan breads, mushrooms, granola, microgreens, tea, jams, pestos, sweets, coffee, soups, ready-to-eat hot foods, sandwiches, snacks, natural home, plants, health and beauty products, even pet treats – plus a few true artisans for a little retail therapy! The Jackson District Library returns – they’ll be with us each Friday, so bring your library card, and if you don’t have one – they can get you one!

Jackson Juneteenth Celebration. Jackson’s #1 cultural celebration is BACK and better than ever! Join us for an unforgettable day of music, culture, and community at Jackson Juneteenth on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Horace Blackman Park, W. Michigan Ave. & S. The Extreme Summer Car Show.  10 AM to 1 PM.  Looking for a fun family activity during Father’s Day weekend?  The Extreme Sumer Car Show is a free community event, welcoming all makes and models.  We will feature prize giveaways, food from All American Smash Wagon, and plenty of vehicles to admire!  This event is free to attend—registration is only required if you’re bringing a vehicle!  Limited spots – registration is FREE for those bringing vehicles.  Prize giveaways (oil changes, merch & more). Marshall Motors Cancer Benefit Cruise-In.  10am-4pm.  6161 Baldwin Rd., Grass Lake.  This is a family-friendly car cruise-in featuring over 280 of the coolest cars on display, all benefiting Relay For Life of Jackson and the American Cancer Society. It’s one of the most anticipated automotive events in the area, combining a classic car show with a charitable cause.

Irish Hills Lake & Home Tour.  The 2026 Irish Hills Lake & Home Tour invites guests to explore five incredible lakes by pontoon and experience firsthand what makes each one different. GRFM Saturdays at the River and Rail.  9 AM to 2 PM.  Directly from the farmers, ranchers, and producers, right here in Jackson! We’ve got the best fresh and local goods inside this historic venue, neighboring our vibrant art community, and just a short walk from murals, music, and theater! Blacksmith & Soldiers Weekend.  10 AM to 4 PM. Waterloo Farm and Dewey School Museum. Experience an exciting weekend of historical reenactments, featuring blacksmithing, Civil War encampments, demonstrators of traditional skills and crafts, and much more. Take a guided tour of the 14-room farmhouse, log cabin, and historic outbuildings. Shop unique vendors and our enchanting gift shop. Live music will happen throughout the day. Cascade Rotary Bandshell Summer Concert Series.  7 PM.  Tonight, John Louis Good & the Rose City Troubadours.  Spend your summer Saturdays with us at our FREE Concert Series, proudly sponsored by Alro Plastics! Every week brings a new vibe — from local legends and fresh new bands to solo artists and big groups, rocking everything from country and rock to soul and blues. When the concert ends, keep the night going- head over to the Cascade Falls and catch the Grand Light Show — the perfect way to wrap up a summer evening.

Welcome Back Comedy – Big Hamz Comedy Jamz.   A packed night of stand-up to the Michigan Theatre stage on Saturday, June 20.  Hosted by Chris “The Mayor” Thomas, a Def Comedy Jam alum known for his quick wit, sharp timing and more than 2,000 celebrity impressions. Concord Farmers Market.  Sundays, 11am-2pm, June – October.  Gottschalk Park, 420 Homer Rd, Concord. The Concord Farmers’ Market exists to cultivate community, support local growers and makers, and increase access to fresh food and meaningful goods.
