The Jackson District Library returns – they’ll be with us each Friday, so bring your library card, and if you don’t have one – they can get you one!
Downtown Jackson Cruise In and Concert. Cruise-In starts at 5:00 PM, Concerts at 8:00 PM. Location: Downtown Jackson (W. Michigan Ave & S. Jackson St). 7th Annual Al Glick Youth Football Camp. 9 AM. Open to Jackson County kids entering 4th through 9th grade fall of 2026. Withington Stadium, Jackson High School. Campers receive non-contact instruction by current high school coaches, former collegiate & professional players, t-shirt, sports pack, water bottle, breakfast and lunch. $15 per camper. Community Leaders Chili Cookoff. 1 PM to 4 PM. The Salvation Army Youth Department presents an afternoon of fun as local elected officials, mayoral candidates and community leaders go head-to-head in a friendly competition of the best chili in town! Admission and tasting: $10 for adults, kids age 5-12 $5, under 5 free. Family pass is $25. All proceeds benefit Salvation Army Youth Programs. Grand Opening Ogma Beer Garden. 1 PM to 10 PM. Join us Saturday, June 27, to celebrate our newly renovated beer garden! We’re bringing in something for everyone — even the kiddos.
