Friday, June 26

Concord Classic Weekend Friday Fun Night.  Festival opens with food trucks, vendors, bounce houses; women’s sand volleyball, corn hole, youth baseball and LIVE Music.  Downtown Concord.

Grand River Farmers Market Downtown Market.  9 AM to 2 PM.  Grow Jackson invites you the Grand River Farmers Market at the downtown pavilion.  Come on down and reconnect… We’ve got dozens of your favorite vendors ready to go with seasonal fruits & veggies, flowers, beef, chicken, eggs, pork, cheeses, honey, syrup, pasta, dairy, artisan breads, mushrooms, granola, microgreens, tea, jams, pestos, sweets, coffee, soups, ready-to-eat hot foods, sandwiches, snacks, natural home, plants, health and beauty products, even pet treats – plus a few true artisans for a little retail therapy! The Jackson District Library returns – they’ll be with us each Friday, so bring your library card, and if you don’t have one – they can get you one!

Downtown Jackson Cruise In and Concert. Cruise-In starts at 5:00 PM, Concerts at 8:00 PM.  Location: Downtown Jackson (W. Michigan Ave & S. Jackson St).  Classic Car Show: Hundreds of the region’s coolest rides.  Live Music: Free concerts at Horace Blackman Park and TRUE Community City Square.  Food & Drinks: Enjoy local food trucks and grab a drink to go within our Social District  Grab your lawn chairs, invite your friends, and let’s make the 2026 season the best one yet.  Learn more at https://jacksondda.org.

Saturday, June 27

7th Annual Al Glick Youth Football Camp.  9 AM. Open to Jackson County kids entering 4th through 9th grade fall of 2026.  Withington Stadium, Jackson High School.  Campers receive non-contact instruction by current high school coaches, former collegiate & professional players, t-shirt, sports pack, water bottle, breakfast and lunch.  $15 per camper.  Details and registration here.

Concord Classic Weekend The Main Event. 9 am Pancake Breakfast & 10am Car Show. Afternoon Games & 1pm Kids Bingo; 2pm Adult Bingo. Noon to 11pm Music Marathon. 3-6pm Home Run Derby and Cornhole. Fireworks at Dusk.  Downtown Concord.

GRFM Saturdays at the River and Rail.  9 AM to 2 PM.  Directly from the farmers, ranchers, and producers, right here in Jackson! We’ve got the best fresh and local goods inside this historic venue, neighboring our vibrant art community, and just a short walk from murals, music, and theater! With live music every market day, along with seasonal fruits and vegetables, meats, eggs, pasta, cheese, coffee, tea, jams, jelly, fresh milled flour, pesto, baked goods, native plants, houseplants, and a rotating variety of food trucks every week.  Let us be your new Saturday morning destination, we’ve got the perfect market vibe you’ve been looking for!   137 W. Crafts & Market.  10 AM to 2 PM.  Jackson County Crafts and Market is a relaxing and fun day filled with many different vendors to not only learn about but shop as well. Please come out and see all the cool and different things people have to offer you to add to your collection.  The Cascades.

Community Leaders Chili Cookoff. 1 PM to 4 PM.  The Salvation Army Youth Department presents an afternoon of fun as local elected officials, mayoral candidates and community leaders go head-to-head in a friendly competition of the best chili in town!  Admission and tasting:  $10 for adults, kids age 5-12 $5, under 5 free.  Family pass is $25.  All proceeds benefit Salvation Army Youth Programs.  Salvation Army Gymnasium, 806 East Pearl Street, Jackson.

Grand Opening Ogma Beer Garden.  1 PM to 10 PM.  Join us Saturday, June 27, to celebrate our newly renovated beer garden! We’re bringing in something for everyone — even the kiddos. It’s a full day of fun, and it’s completely free. 1 PM: Beer Garden Name Reveal, 1–4 PM: The Facepaint Faerie (Free Face Painting), 1–3 PM: Pinter Whitnick (’90s/’00s Covers), 3:30–5 PM: Aaron Zraik (Singer-Songwriter), 6–10 PM: ROBERT RYTM & DISCO DEAN TAKEOVER (DJ Duo Party).  We’ll also have beer garden games set up for a full day of fun! Come celebrate our beautiful new garden space and kick off a summer and fall packed with killer events at Ogma. 129 E. Michigan Avenue, Downtown Jackson.

Cascades Rotary Bandshell Summer Concert Series.  Spend your summer Saturdays with us at our FREE Concert Series, proudly sponsored by Alro Plastics! Every week brings a new vibe — from local legends and fresh new bands to solo artists and big groups, rocking everything from country and rock to soul and blues. When the concert ends, keep the night going- head over to the Cascade Falls and catch the Grand Light Show — the perfect way to wrap up a summer evening.  Tonight’s concert performer:  The Ramblers.

Concord Classic Weekend Sunday Finale. Golf Scramble, Music, Varsity Basketball Honor at 5:15 and Youth Volleyball-Euchre Tourney.  Downtown Concord.

Concord Farmers Market.  Sundays, 11am-2pm, June – October.  Gottschalk Park, 420 Homer Rd, Concord. The Concord Farmers’ Market exists to cultivate community, support local growers and makers, and increase access to fresh food and meaningful goods.
