5th Annual Chocolate Sensation. 5 PM to 7 PM. Jackson Symphony Orchestra, Weatherwax Hall, Downtown Jackson. Get your tickets here. Southern Michigan Winter Beer Fest. 12 PM – 5 PM. The event will be held inside the American 1 Event Center with food trucks, games, fire pits and activities held out on the patio! The event will showcase over 150 craft beers, ciders, meads and wines along with food trucks; Tiki Sams Pizza, PBJ BBQ, The Bandwagon and Baby Bear Burger! Special Guest Appearance: FRESH OFF THE VOICE – BRAYDEN LAPE! Ticket prices: GA tickets are $35.00 in advance. Patrons get 10 tasting tokens. The day of the event is $40.00. We also have VIP tickets for $50.00 that get you 15 tasting tokens, a chance to come in one (1) hour early, and a commemorative hat. ORS Race Series Pop-Up Training Run. 8 AM to 10 AM. Lost Railway Museum, Downtown Grass Lake. Missing the ORS Race Series atmosphere already? We are too. We are partnering with our running friends in the Grass Lake Road Runners (GLRR) for a training run/walk on Saturday March 11, ~ 8:00 am. THIS IS A FREE event. Just an opportunity to bring our running community together! We will start and finish at the Lost Railway Museum in Grass Lake. We will have GLRR’s prepared to lead us along the Traffic Jam’In 5K course as well as other varying distances (follow for more information on what those distances will be). ORS and M&K Jetting will be providing post run refreshments. Come join us for a casual run/walk adventure! Stay afterwards to explore the Lost Railway Museum!! Hidden Women of Color. A Pop-Up Exhibit Featuring the Art of Jerome Washington during March 2023. Whatever task they tackled, whatever sacrifices they made, whatever boundaries they had to cross. The Hidden Women of Color are women who made a choice to do what they had to do despite the cost. One common thread that seems to fuel these remarkable women: To help and elevate others. It has been a labor of love to discover these women, their achievements and to bring them out of the shadows. The Ella Sharp Museum is proud to feature this pop-up exhibit throughout the month of March.
