Drive Jackson Community Coffee Hour.  11:30–1:00 PM, Trail Head Coffee Shop, 118 N. Main St., Concord.  Following a successful launch of the county-wide Drive Jackson 20-Year Strategic Vision Plan, community engagement continues as implementation efforts move forward.  Coffee Hours are an opportunity to continue to connect and ask questions and talk about the issues that matter most, the opportunities that excite us and how we move our County forward.  All are welcome to attend.

St. Mary Lenten Fish Fry. 4 PM to 7 PM.  $17 per meal.  2 pieces of fried or baked cod, french fries, mac & cheese, cole slaw, and dessert.  In Star Hall, lower level of church, at corner of Wesley and Mechanic Streets, every Friday during Lent.   All proceeds go to St. Mary Child Development Center.  Dine in, drive thru, or carry out.

Queens Friday Fish Dinner. 4:30 PM to 7 PM.  Join us Fridays during Lent for the Knights of Columbus Fish Fry.  Fish, baked or fried, fish tacos, vegetable, french fries, mac & cheese, cole slaw, pizza, drinks and dessert.  Adults $16, $15 for seniors and students, $13 for active military, $7 for ages 7 and under.  Family rate available.  Drive thru meals $14.  Queens School Cafeteria.

Our Lady of Fatima Lenten Fish Fry.  Join us at Our Lady of Fatima for our Annual Lenten Fish Fry! Enjoy an all‑you‑can‑eat dinner featuring fried and baked fish, classic sides, and homemade desserts. Bring family, friends, and neighbors for great food and warm community fellowship. Hosted every Friday from February 20 through March 27, 4–7 PM, in Fr. Dunne Hall.

Lumen Christ Catholic School presents “Annie”.  7:30 PM.  Lumen Christi present the Broadway musical “Annie” Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Directed by Sandra DeCesare, Musical Conductor Rebekah Stoll, and Vocal Coach Anne Fleming.  Adults $12, Senior Citizens $10, K-12 Students $7, Children $5.  Family $30.  Tickets available at the door.  Lumen Christi Cafetorium.

Center Stage Jackson Youth Theatre:  Twinderella.  Center Stage Jackson’s Youth Theatre Production of Twinderella is coming to the stage March 13–15 at the East Jackson High School Auditorium — and this fairy tale is anything but ordinary! Our talented young cast has been working incredibly hard to bring this funny, light-hearted twist on a classic story to life. Expect magical moments, silly surprises, and a whole lot of heart as these young performers shine on stage. Performance Schedule:  Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14 – 7:00 PM,  Sunday, March 15 – 2:00 PM.  East Jackson High School Auditorium.  Tickets will be available only at the door and will be CASH only.  $7 for adults / $4 for kids 12 and under.

The Honky Tonk House Band at The Honky Tonk. 9 PM.  The Honky Tonk House Band brings together a rotating lineup of powerhouse musicians for a high-energy night of country, rock, and crowd-favorite hits. Led by Zac Polk and featuring special guests like Toryn Green, Mallery Lynn, Isaac Harper, and more, every show has its own personality — but the mission is always the same: Big songs. Big sound. Packed dance floor. Doors at 8 PM.  The Honky Tonk at Oak + Iron, 151 West Michigan Avenue, Downtown Jackson.

Frog and Koop Live at Ironbark.  7 PM to 10 PM.  The dynamic duo of Frog & Koop bring Classic Rock, 70’s and 80’s hits, and more to the stage as they bring timeless songs to life!  2610 Kibby Road, Jackson.

Slim Nichols at Mancino’s.  Come on down to hear Mike Slim Crupi and Kevin Nichols This Friday at Mancino’s at 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. It will be a rocking good time for everyone! 3017 Wildwood Avenue, Jackson.

ORS Race Series:  Jackson YMCA Shamrock Shuffle.  12 PM.   the Jackson YMCA is proud to present the 2026 Shamrock Shuffle 5k Run, 5k Walk and Kids Run! Kick-off St. Patty’s Day with a brisk run or walk through downtown Jackson. Keep an eye out on the course for festive Shamrock’s welcoming you into supporting businesses offering specials for race participants. Proceeds from the Shamrock Shuffle benefit the Jackson YMCA’s FOR ALL program. Race proceeds will be distributed to youth, adults, seniors and families to participate in programs like swim lessons, after-school programs, and chronic disease prevention programs.  Registration and event page here.

Southern Michigan Winter Beer Festival.  12 PM to 5 PM.  The 15th Annual Southern Michigan Winter Beer Festival will take place on Saturday, March 14th, 2026 at the American 1 Event Center at Keeley Park(AKA Jackson County Fairgrounds) and will showcase over 150 craft beers, ciders, meads and wines, along with food trucks, live music, ice sculpture demonstrations, games, firepits, retail vendors and more!!  Tickets and event page here. The Southern Michigan Winter Beer Festival is a fundraiser for the Jackson County Fair premium account to support our 4-H and FFA youth. This event is 21 and over ONLY.

Pollinator Garden Build at the River and Rail.  Saturday is National Butterfly Day – billions are leaving Mexico in March – let’s construct a pollinator garden to greet them when they get to Michigan! We’ll be seeding and building our *very first* of many gardens at the farmstop on Saturday, March 14 – cutting, assembling, filling, and planning – bring your gloves and wear weather-appropriate clothing (and bring a drill with a star bit if you have it!) Albert’s Backyard Sweets will be installing REAL hives later this spring (World Bee Day is May 23), so get a sneak peek at where they’ll go! Adam and Jill will BEE bringing their bee suits, books and info regarding uses of all the items in a hive, as well info about pollen and nectar values by plant. Event page here.

Maple’s Sweet Story. Dahlem’s maple sugaring operation is small but an ideal site to demonstrate the science of collecting maple tree sap and making our favorite tasty maple syrup topping. Sign up for an interpretive guided 1 1/4 hour tour at 10:00 am or 12:30 pm to learn about the history of sugaring, and learn through hands-on STEM activities; how to identify maple trees, drilling & tapping, the tree’s many jobs, and finally, see the sap being boiled down on the wood stove at our historic sugar shack, and where everyone gets to taste the sweet golden nectar of the sugar maple. Fee: $6/Dahlem member; $8/non-member; $20 Member Family (same household) and $25 Non-member Family (same household).  Advanced registration required. St. Patrick’s Day Party at Sandhill. Come to Sandhill to enjoy live music, cocktails, food specials, and costume contests all in honor of St Patrick’s Day! We’re open to the public from 12-4pm on March 14th, but if you want to stay in the evening (from 5-10pm) for live music and more merrymaking, you’ll need to purchase a ticket. Your ticket is a cover charge granting you access to the winery while our live music plays between 6-9pm. Choose the ticket option including a Reuben Roll by Kitchen Little to guarantee a hearty Irish-themed meal as well! Ironbark Brewing Company Read In.  12 PM to 4 PM.  Join JDL at Ironbark Brewing Co. for a Read-In! Read-ins are a fun way to show your support of literacy by reading in a public place. Bring your own book or visit JDL’s onsite pop-up library! Capital City Ringers Handbell Ensemble Concert.  3 PM.  The Capital City Ringers are an auditioned community handbell ensemble from Lansing.  The ringers provide a high quality musical experienc3e for divers3e audi3ences.  The group performs on a fulll 7 octave set of Malmark English bells, a 6 plus octave of Malmark English choir chimes, often adding a variety of other instruments.  Music Director is Mark Loring.  This is a free concert sponsored by the Tuesday Musicale of Jackson.  Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1505 West Michigan Avenue, Jackson.
