POSTPONED Cascades 90th Anniversary Car Show.  6 PM – 11 PM.  90th Anniversary Car Show, Cascades Falls, Sparks Foundation County Park, 1401 S Brown St, Jackson. What better way to kick off the 2022 season than by celebrating the 90th Anniversary of The Cascades. Join us for a spectacular Car Show, Live Entertainment by the Alibi Band, Food Trucks, Birthday Cake and the Grand Light Show of The Cascades.  Gates will open at 6 pm and admission will only be $.90 per person. POSTPONED TO JULY 8.

Cruise In and Concert.  5 PM to 9 PM.  Jackson Downtown Development Authority presents Cruise In and Car Show.  Hundreds of classic and antique cars, food trucks, entertainment and more.  Downtown merchants and restaurants will be open and welcome your visit!  Concert at TRUE Community City Square at Horace Blackman Park (rain location:  Michigan Theatre).   Tonight, Big Foot Bob and the Toetappers live from 6 PM to 8 PM.  Fun for the whole family!

Book Sale.  5 PM to 9 PM.  Stop by and visit your friends if the JDL. We will also have the new bookmobile on display! See you there.  Jackson District Library Carnegie Branch, Downtown Jackson.

Jacktown Hustlers at the Dirty Bird.  7 PM to 10 PM.  You can catch us this Friday at The Dirty Bird with Vic and Darrin playing at 7 pm and Jacktown Hustlers following at 9 pm.  Dirty Bird, 140 West Michigan Avenue, Downtown Jackson.

Live Music with Propolis.  6:30 PM to 9 PM.  Come grab a drink and enjoy some live music from Propolis in our upstairs. Pet friendly!  Jackson Coffee Company, 201 S. Mechanic Street, Downtown Jackson.

Late Night Friday with John Patrick Peters.  6 PM to 9 PM.  Celebrate the LAST Friday of Michigan Wine Month with us! Music by John Patrick Peters ’til 9 pm with the kitchen open until 9:30 pm.  Sandhill Crane Vineyards, 4724 Walz Road, Jackson.

Jeff Fouty Live at Ironbark.  7 PM to 10 PM.  Join us for an evening of acoustic folk, rock and classics from Jeff Fouty!  Ironbark Brewing Company, 2610 Kibby Road, Jackson.

May 28

Picnic at the Manor featuring Pro DJs.  12 PM to 3 PM.  We are collaborating with Jackson County Parks to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Sparks Foundation Park. Please join us on Saturday, May 28th from 12 pm-3 pm. We will be serving BBQ chicken leg quarters, potato salad, baked beans, watermelon wedge, bottled soft drinks or bottled water for $12.27 per person. A cash bar will also be available. We are excited to have Pro DJ’s providing the entertainment! Weather permitting we will have indoor and outdoor seating available

Memorial Day Fireworks Show.  6 PM to 11 PM.  Who doesn’t love fireworks!?! Join us at The Cascades on May 28th and help us celebrate the 90th Anniversary of The Cascades! Gates open at 6 pm and The Swift Brothers will be kicking off the night with live entertainment at 6:30 pm and fireworks will take place at dusk!  Admission: $7 per person, $5 for children ages 4-12.

May 29

Pancake Breakfast.  7 AM to 12 PM.  EAA 304 Fly-In Pancake Breakfast. Eggs, sausage, pancakes, coffee and juice in the EAA Chapter hangar. Come see the famous Pancake Machine in action!  Jackson County Airport Reynolds Field.  $10 per person.  Kids 6-10 are $5.  Kids 5 and under free.
