
CPCAN Annual Pinwheel Garden. 11:30 AM. April is Child Abuse Prevention Month! Join the Council for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (CPCAN) and our supporters as we plant a pinwheel garden to bring awareness about child abuse prevention. The pinwheel represents the joyful, carefree childhood every child deserves! We will have a ceremony in the park across the street from our agency and will then move into our Child and Parent Center for light refreshments. CPCAN, 606 Greenwood Place, Jackson.

Donation Drive. Join the Jackson County Department of Health and Human Services in April’s Donation Drive to recognize Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month. Make your donation of cleaning supplies, personal hygiene products, new blankets, socks/underwear of all sizes, diapers, wipes, baby shampoo/wash, sleep sacks, pack-n-plays.
