Ukulele Jam Sessions.  5:30 PM to 7:45 PM.  The Jacktown Ukes meet the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at the Jackson District Library Eastern Branch and are happy to have others jam with them! If you are a newbie, we will have an extra ukulele on hand. All ages welcome!  Resources on how to play are provided, however we are not able to provide lessons.  Eastern Branch, Jackson District Library.

Red Cross Blood Drive.  12 p.m. – 5:45 p.m., St. Marys Church, 301 South Mechanic, Jackson.  To help address the current emergency blood shortage, all who come to give blood or platelets with the American Red Cross July 29 through Aug. 29 will receive a $5 Amazon.com Gift Card via email. Currently, the Red Cross has less than a three-day supply of most blood types available and less than a two-day supply of type O blood.

Summer Zumba at Carnegie.  5:30 PM.  Join us on this adventure and burn calories while having fun!  This is a great way to meet new people and burn off the stress that accumulates throughout the day!  About the Instructor:  Gayle Hyde has been a Zumba Fitness instructor for 8 years, with credentials in Zumba, Aqua Zumba, Zumba Toning, Strong by Zumba and Zumba kids.  Carnegie Branch, Jackson District Library.

Livability at Eastern. 11 AM to 1 PM. The Jackson District Library Eastern Branch will be hosting programs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month for all ages and abilities. The library will provide the supplies for different crafts, activities, and games.  This program is intended for special needs adults and their caregivers but all are welcome.  Eastern Branch, Jackson District Library.

Nixon Water Park FINAL WEEK!  The Water Park will be open every day through August 17th.  Hours of operation and swim sessions are:  MONDAY THRU THURSDAY, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., 2:15 to 5:15 p.m. and 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. ($2 only). FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 2:15 to 5:15 p.m. Admission for each session is $4.00, except the Monday thru Thursday evening session which is $2.00.

Piano Bar at Ironbark Brewing Company.  Come join us for Piano Bar with Andrea Wynn-Chatfield. Peruse some the music that comes with us or bring your own. This event is  geared towards musical theater performances but other genres of music are welcome. We hope that you will come on out, support our community, small business, and the arts!   This is a family friendly event.  7 PM to 9:30 PM.  Ironbark Brewing Company,  2610 Kibby Road.
