Grass Lake Storytime. 11 AM to 12 PM.  Join us at the Grass Lake Branch for Storytime! JDL Storytimes offer age-appropriate books, music, and activities for babies, toddlers, families, and young children. Most importantly, they help develop everyone’s imaginations!  Grass Lake Branch, Jackson District Library.

Black History Month Screening: “The Jackie Robinson Story” (1950). Celebrate Black History Month at the Michigan Theatre of Jackson with a special screening of The Jackie Robinson Story (1950). Starring Jackie Robinson as himself, this powerful biographical film tells the true story of his groundbreaking journey to become the first African American player in modern Major League Baseball. The film highlights Robinson’s perseverance, courage, and the lasting cultural impact of breaking baseball’s color barrier. Presented in our newly renovated historic theatre, this screening is part of our ongoing commitment to celebrating culture, history, and community through film.  Doors open at 6:30 PM. Film begins at 7:00 PM.  Admission: $5 at the door.   Member Perk: Free medium combo for members. Blues at the Bohm:  Shawn Holt and the Teardrops.  7 PM.  Blues at the Bohm is thrilled to welcome Shawn Holt & the Teardrops to the historic Bohm Theatre on February 2, 2026, for an electrifying night of authentic Chicago blues. Led by Shawn Holt, son of legendary bluesman Magic Slim, the band brings high-energy performances, soulful guitar work, and a powerful traditional blues sound that has earned them national acclaim. This special Blues at the Bohm performance promises an evening of outstanding musicianship, community energy, and the pure blues spirit that has made the series a local favorite.  Admission $22.  201 S.
