Economic Luncheon.  11:30 AM.  Cascades Manor.  Be inspired by this year’s recipient of the Athena Award, Teri Ogg. The award is presented annually to one who exemplifies the ability to help women reach their full leadership potential. Come meet the winner and hear their story and words of motivation. Jackson YMCA Winter Learning Series.  Join us Monday, February 28 in the Beaman lounge at 11:30 am for our Winter Learning Series. Dawn Buchbinder, LMSW, Thome PACE will be speaking on, “Changing Family Dynamics in the Senior Years” We are excited to bring this FREE series to our members and the Jackson community. This series takes place every Monday through March. All are welcome; topics are geared for active older adults but can benefit others. Snacks, beverages and prizes.  Jackson YMCA, 127 W. Wesley Street, Downtown Jackson.

Jackson College Film Class presents “Casablanca”.  This is a classic that is worth watching again. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Auditorium doors open at 7 pm. Film begins at 7:15 pm. Admission is $5. Michigan Theatre Members receive a medium combo (medium popcorn/medium soft drink or water).  Michigan Theatre, Downtown Jackson.

Free Tax Help.  Now through early April, you can stop by the Carnegie Library computer lab for free help preparing your 2021 tax returns on the following days and times:

Mondays: 4-7 PM

Tuesdays: 1-4 PM

Wednesdays: 1-7 PM

Saturdays: 10 AM – 1 PM
