Storyteller Larry Castleberry presented by the Jackson District Library.  Join us as storyteller Larry Castleberry brings tales from Africa and the far East to life in this engaging and interactive storytelling event.

11 AM George Long Elementary School, Grass Lake.

3 PM  Hanover Heritage Park, Hanover.

Teen Painting at the Spring Arbor Branch.  11 AM.  Tweens and teens will enjoy learning to paint a scene with a Jackson School of the Arts staff member. The program is intended for tweens and teens 11-18.  This event will take place at the Jackson District Library Spring Arbor Branch and registration is required. To register, click here.

On Two Wheels Monday Evening MTB Ride with Pat.  5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.  This is an On Two Wheels sanctioned MTB ride hosted by Pat. The meeting location will be the Museum Parking lot at Ella Sharp Park. Helmets are REQUIRED for all riders. All skill riders are welcome. Nixon Water Park.  11 AM to 3 PM.  Nixon Water Park is open for the summer season.   The Nixon Water Park is located inside Nixon Park at 400 E. North St. It contains a water slide, full pool, waterfall, and wading area. The complex also hosts an event space for community use. The water park is open Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Aug. 20. The cost is $5 per person or 10 swim passes for $40.
