Nixon Water Park Opening Day.  The City of Jackson Nixon Water Park season opens today.  Hours are Monday thru Saturday 11 AM to 3 PM, session price is $5.  3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, session price $3.  Senior Swim:  Tuesday and Friday, 9 AM to 10:30 AM, session price $2.  Closed Sundays.  400 E. North Street at Cooper Street, Jackson.

Jackson College Boys Baseball Camp.  June 19-20, 9 a.m. – 12 noon.  Boys ages 6 – 13.  $85.  Boys Baseball Camp will play ball again this summer at Jackson College! Boys ages 6-13 can practice the game at a two-day camp, June 19-20 from 9 a.m. to noon., on the baseball fields on Central Campus (2111 Emmons Road, Jackson, MI  49201). Baseball camp will teach fundamental skills in the sport – catching, batting, pitching, fielding, rules of the game and more. Boys can develop and their overall fitness while having fun with others. Cost is $85 for the camp. Campers will receive a T-shirt and should bring a glove, hat, water bottle and bat, if possible. Food Truck Party VBS.  6:30 PM.  A great week of God’s Word and good eats. Families with children ages 4-10 will be welcomed each evening with a family dinner, great music, crafts, games and of course great lessons from the Bible. Jesus feeds us daily in many ways. JSO Community Music School Summer Registration.  Register now for new classes and workshops running from June through August to fit your busy schedule.  Among the offerings:  Rock Camp.   Musicians can experience what it’s like to be part of a band in this class.
