Mental Health Forum.  Jackson College invites students and the community to United for Hope and Health, a Mental Health Forum on Monday, March 20. This free event takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Bert Walker Hall Community Rooms, 144-145.  Darryll Stinson, a Jackson native, entrepreneur, pastor, speaker, and attempted suicide survivor, will be a special guest speaker. Stinson is a former Division 1 athlete who knows what it’s like to battle mental illness while still having to produce results. He will be joined by panelists with different areas of expertise, such as clinical psychology, law enforcement, health and fitness, case management, and student:  Sarah Sabin, Chief Clinical Officer, Family Services & Children’s Aid, The Oasis Center;   Christopher A. Simpson, Jackson County Undersheriff, Jackson College Trustee; Nacoya Weatherspoon, Health & Fitness Coach;  Michaela Foster, Case Management Associate, Behavioral Health at HFJH;  Emani Braden, Psychology Student, Sisters of Strength.  Free event, lunch will be served and all are welcome.

Jackson College Winter Film Series:  The Social Network”. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Auditorium doors open at 7 pm. Film begins at 7:15 pm. Admission is $5. Film Summary – In 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer genius Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg) begins work on a new concept that eventually turns into the global social network known as Facebook. Six years later, he is one of the youngest billionaires ever, but Zuckerberg finds that his unprecedented success leads to both personal and legal complications when he ends up on the receiving end of two lawsuits, one involving his former friend (Andrew Garfield). Based on the book “The Accidental Billionaires.” Michigan Theatre, Downtown Jackson.

DSLR 3 – More Settings for Your DSLR.  6 PM to 8 PM.  This class explores auto exposure bracketing, exposure adjustments in the auto modes, understanding focusing modes, and back-button focus.
