Clarklake Memorial Day Parade. 8:30 AM. The parade forms on North Lake Road, travels south on Hyde Road, turns around in the Doyle’s parking lot, and returns north to end at the Clarklake Cemetery. During the return trip, a stop is made at the Clark Lake Cemetery to honor fallen military members with a prayer and Taps. Optimal viewing spots are along Hyde Road, particularly between the boat launch and the Township Park. Hosted by Clarklake Lions Club.
Jackson County Veterans Council Parade. 10 AM. The Jackson County Veterans Council will host its annual procession. Beginning at the intersection of Jackson Street and West Michigan Avenue in Downtown Jackson, the procession travels down Jackson Street, to Greenwood Avenue and ends at Mount Evergreen Cemetery. A ceremony including the laying of wreaths will take place afterwards at the cemetery..
Memorial Day Mass at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. 9 AM. Memorial Day Mass is held every year on Memorial Day at 9 AM outside at the cemetery’s altar. Please bring your own lawn chair for seating. 4440 East South Street, Jackson.
Spring Arbor Township 51st Annual Memorial Day Parade. Memorial Service at 12 PM, parade starts at 1 PM. Join us for family games from 11 AM to 1 PM. Enjoy marching bands, historic vehicles, community performance and more. The Boy Scouts host a Chicken Dinner at the fire stations beginning at 12 PM.
