Events of Monday, May 26, 2025

Memorial Day Mass at St. John Cemetery. 9 AM.  The annual Memorial Day Mass will be celebrated outside at the cemetery’s altar.  Bring your own lawn chair for seating.  404 East South Street, Jackson.   In the event of inclement weather, Mass will be moved to St. John the Evangelist Church.

Jackson Memorial Day Procession.  10 AM.  The 2025 Jackson Memorial Day Procession will begin at the corner of S. Jackson St. & Michigan Ave. at 10am on Monday, May 26. It will make its down S. Jackson St. to Greenwood Ave. and will end at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery. There will be a ceremony following.

Brooklyn Memorial Day Service & Salute.  10 AM.  In 2025, Brooklyn, Michigan, will observe Memorial Day on Monday, May 26th. Memorial Day Service: 10:00 AM, Salute: 10:00 AM. Brooklyn Town Square.

YPOP Explorers Annual Memorial Day Celebration.  12 PM to 2 PM.  African American Veteran’s Memorial Garden, 151 Rockwell Street, Jackson.  All are welcome to attend this special event!

Spring Arbor Memorial Day Parade. Memorial Day Service: 12:00 p.m.  Memorial Day Parade: 1:00 p.m.  Plan to join us May 26th for this annual event. Main Street, Spring Arbor, beginning at Spring Arbor University.
