GRB Dine to Donate Supporting Jackson Interfaith Shelter.  All Day.   Support your local homeless shelter while dining at Grand River Brewery on Monday, October 7!  For the entire day, 10% of your food and drink total will be donated to the Jackson Interfaith Shelter.  There will be live music by local musician Aaron Zraik from 6-9 p.m. Grand River Brewery, Downtown Jackson.   To learn more about the work of Jackson Interfaith Shelter, visit https://www.interfaithshelter.com/

Jackson College Film Class Movie Night:  The Elephant Man. Every Monday the public will be treated to some of the finest films ever made. The doors to the auditorium will open at 7 pm. The box office will be open at 6:30 pm. The cost is $5 per film. Present your Michigan Theatre Membership Card and receive a free medium popcorn and free medium soft drink.  ABOUT THE FILM: Dr. Frederic Treves (Anthony Hopkins) discovers Joseph (John) Merrick (John Hurt) in a sideshow. Born with a congenital disorder, Merrick uses his disfigurement to earn a living as the “Elephant Man.” Treves brings Merrick into his home, discovering that his rough exterior hides a refined soul, and that Merrick can teach the stodgy British upper class of the time a lesson about dignity. Merrick becomes the toast of London and charms a caring actress (Anne Bancroft) before his death at 27.

Improv Comedy Night at Ironbark.  7:30 PM.  Come out for a night of laughs, drinks, and good times as Monster Box Theatre brings Improv Comedy Mondays back to Ironbark Brewing Co! Show starts at 7:30, come early to grab some great beer and dinner!
