Michigan Department of Corrections On-Site Visit at Jackson College.  An MDOC representative will visit Potter Center on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to discuss opportunities in corrections.  All are welcome.  Explore Career and Internship Opportunities!

Leadership Speaker Series:  Ken Johnson.  11:30 AM to 1 PM.  As part of Autumn at the Arbor at Spring Arbor University, you are invited to attend an inspiring and motivating speaker series with Ken Johnson. Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival  5:30 pm – 6:30 pm.  Join us at the Grass Lake Branch, Jackson District Library to learn about the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, a celebration of the moon and the harvest. Jackson College Film Series:  “A Hard Days Night”.  The Beatles in their feature film debut, one of the greatest rock-and-roll comedy adventures ever. The film has a fully restored negative and digitally restored soundtrack. The film takes on the just-left-of-reality style of mock-documentary, following “a day in the life” of John, Paul, George, and Ringo as fame takes them by storm.  Doors open at 7:00 P.M.  Film Starts at 7:15 P.M.  Admission 5 Dollars.  Michigan Theatre, Downtown Jackson.

Rock and Mineral Theme Day.  Our theme day for September will be rock and mineral identification.  Bring up to 5 specimens of rocks or minerals (fossils will be another day) and we will teach you how to identifiy them.  Visit our newly updated rock and mineral exhibits and shop at our gift shop, where nothing is over $15!  Imagine Planet, 730 Tomlinson, Jackson.
