Michigan Theatre presents “12 Angry Men”.  7 PM.  Once again, we are proud to welcome back Jackson College’s “Intro to Film” class. Every Monday for 13 weeks. Film at 7:00 pm; The box office will be open at 6:30 pm. The cost is $5 per film. Present your Michigan Theatre Membership Card and receive a free medium popcorn and free medium soft drink. ABOUT THE FILM: Following the closing arguments in a murder trial, the 12 members of the jury must deliberate, with a guilty verdict meaning death for the accused, an inner-city teen. As the dozen men try to reach a unanimous decision while sequestered in a room, one juror (Henry Fonda) casts considerable doubt on elements of the case. Personal issues soon rise to the surface, and conflict threatens to derail the delicate process that will decide one boy’s fate.  Michigan Theatre, Downtown Jackson.

Avatar Academy.  3:30 PM.  During this four-session program, tweens ages 8-12 will imagine themselves as avatars – design their avatar’s world, create a costume for their avatar and more.  Please call to register at the branch you would like to attend.
