Nite Lites Christmas Light Show.  Join us for Nite Lites at Michigan International Speedway! Nite Lites is a drive-thru light display spanning 5-miles across MIS property.  November 25 through December 31.  Michigan International Speedway, US-12 Entrances only, 12626 US Highway 12, Brooklyn, MI 49230 (Westbound use Lot 8 Entrance, Eastbound use Graves Family Entrance).  5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday – Thursday | 5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. Friday & Saturday.  Cost: $25 per car (Sunday-Thursday), $30 per car (Friday & Saturday), $45 per minibus, limo, or motorhome, $100 per tour bus.  Cash and credit cards accepted. A Christmas Story.  The Jackson High School Theatre Department presents the classic, Jean Shephard’s “A Christmas Story”.  Performances are Friday and Saturday at 7 PM and Sunday at 3 PM.  Jackson High School Auditorium.  Tickets are $5 at the door.

ARTitude.  ARTitude is an annual pop-up holiday marketplace now open at the Masonic Temple, 145 W. Cortland in Downtown Jackson. We offer a booth-style marketplace for artists to display and sell their work throughout the Holiday season. The marketplace will be open for business through Friday, December 24th. Our regular hours will be Tuesdays through Saturdays 11a.-7p. and Sundays 11a.-4p.

Black Friday Fun at Allskate.  Fri, Nov. 26th 1-4pm Day After Thanksgiving!  Adm: $8, Skate Rentals $4 ~ Skate Mates $5 + deposit ~ Laser Tag $6.  $14 Super Fun Pass includes: rental skates, 1 game of Laser Tag, & 10 Tokens!  Allskate Fun Center, 1313 West North Street, Jackson.

Downtown Brooklyn Christmas Parade.  Join us for our Christmas Parade! Festivities begin at 5:30.  Activities include:  Cookie decorating at Patrones Day Spa, courtesy of Wesco, Christmas stories with Mrs. Claus at Columbia Interiors, Fire Pit with smores, courtesy of The Corner Cottage, Hayrides, courtesy of Patrones Day Spa & family, Cider & popcorn courtesy of Re/Max, Donuts and warm beverages courtesy of Cornerstone Church, Games @ Tracey’s Gift Shop, Region 2 will have a table.  Once Santa arrives, via the Parade, he will be stationed at Columbia Interiors. Small gifts courtesy of Santa’s elves, Kiwanis & Evelyn Clee  $5 Caricature Drawings @ Kate’s Art School.  Brooklyn Presbyterian Church will be open for restrooms & baby changing facilities  &&&& More!!  Performances & Music by:  Savanna Rose Dance Studio, Cornerstone Church Choir, 3 band Quartet.

Black Friday Scramble at The Grande Golf Club.  While the rest are out shopping, why not play a little golf?  What: 4-person scramble with men playing the blue tees, seniors (60+) playing the white tees, and ladies & kids (12 and under) playing the red tees.  When: Friday, November 26 with an 11:00 AM shotgun start.  Cost: $55 per player (includes golf, lunch, prize money, & skins).  This event is designed to be played at a good pace of play, and to be fun for all that participate. It will be open to the first 30 teams to sign up, so don’t wait! Unless there is snow on the ground, the Black Friday Scramble WILL be played.  To register your team, please contact the Pro Shop at (517) 768-9494.

Cocktail Classic Rock Live at Ironbark.  7 PM to 10 PM.  Join us for an evening of entertaining classics courtesy of the dynamic duo Cocktail Classic Rock!  Also featuring the Baxter’s Dawgs and More food truck!  Ironbark Brewing Company, 2610 Kibby Road, Jackson.

Birthbrite Community Donation Drive-In.  The mission of Birthbrite is to deliver hope and joy to children in foster care.  Birthbrite stocks a wide variety of items for children and families in their foster care closet.  Items are then provided to foster care children and families free of charge.  Items are being accepted now through December 6.  Suggested donations (new items only please):  diapers, baby hygiene products, clothing, shoes, children’s underwear, children’s books, sensory/fidget toys, bath towels, toys.  Donations can be dropped off at Callaghan’s Coffee Cafe, 109 S. Main Street, Brooklyn;  Jaxon’s Playhouse, Summit Oaks Mall, Ferguson Road;  Doll n’ Burgers, 323 South Cooper, Jackson.

Reflective Works Christmas Market.  Join Reflective Works for a Christmas Market! 11 AM – 3 PM.  10790 Cady Rd.  Grass Lake.  Join Reflective Works for a kids theme Christmas Market!! JCYC Gift Drive.  The Arbor Church.  This year, we’re excited to have another chance to bless the young people at the Jackson County Youth Center with our Christmas gift drive. We’ll begin collecting items on November 28th and continue through December 12th. You can drop off your donations in a collection box by the main entrance!  More details and suggested items here.  120 East Main Street, Spring Arbor.

Downtown Power Outage

Due to the downtown power outage, JTV will return to live programming on Wednesday, April 17.
