
Jackson College Screening Day. Don’t miss out on free & low-cost health screenings while helping Jackson College students gain some experience! Jackson College will provide free health screenings on April 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Health screenings will take place in the Rawal Center, Justin Whiting Hall. Students, under the direction of licensed/certified faculty and healthcare professionals, will offer a variety of screenings: Blood Pressure, EKG, Glucose, Diabetic Foot Exam, Spirometry (Pulmonary Function), Pulse Oximetry, Venous Insufficiency and Vascular Arterial Screening. Country Club of Jackson Renovation Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting. 4 PM to 6 PM. The event is open to the community, local businesses, and its members, and will feature tours of the newly renovated facilities along with hors d’oeuvres and beverages. The clubhouse has undergone an extensive renovation that includes a new dining area and bar, providing a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for members and guests to enjoy. Additionally, a new golf performance center has been added, providing state-of-the-art facilities for golfers of all skill levels to improve their game. Outside, golf turn bar and food have been added for members and guests to enjoy while out on the course. Michigan Theatre Member Movie Night: “Interstellar”. In Earth’s future, a global crop blight and second Dust Bowl are slowly rendering the planet uninhabitable. Professor Brand (Michael Caine), a brilliant NASA physicist, is working on plans to save mankind by transporting Earth’s population to a new home via a wormhole. But first, Brand must send former NASA pilot Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) and a team of researchers through the wormhole and across the galaxy to find out which of three planets could be mankind’s new home.
