Thursday Night Film Series.  Thursday Night Film Series “Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade”.  The intrepid explorer Indiana Jones sets out to rescue his father, a medievalist who has vanished while searching for the Holy Grail. Following clues in the old man’s notebook, Indy arrives in Venice, where he enlists the help of a beautiful academic, but they are not the only ones who are on the trail, and some sinister old enemies soon come out of the woodwork. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Film begins at 7:00 p.m. Admission for members is Free. Admission for non members is 5 Dollars.  Michigan Theatre, Downtown Jackson.

Neighborhood Meeting for Jackson’s Sixth Ward.  Residents in Jackson’s Sixth Ward are invited to meet with their City Council representative and learn the latest news from City government.  Councilmember Will Forgrave is holding a neighborhood meeting for the Sixth Ward from 6 PM to 8 PM.  The focus of the meeting is for residents to learn about the City’s new leaf collection program and the plan to raise water rates to pay for removing lead service lines.  City officials will be at the meeting to discuss these topics and answer questions from residents.  Frost Elementary School, 1225 S. Retro Weekend at Bone Island Grill.  It’s the weekend you’ve all been waiting for, Retro Weekend!!
