Jackson Young Professionals Large Group Meeting. 6 PM. Where: Grow Jackson at St Mary’s location 415 S Mechanic St Jackson. Nowadays we’re more removed from what it takes to put healthy food on the table – and some communities have it better than others. That’s why Grow Jackson started community gardens, education programs around gardening and nutrition, and rescuing food to distribute to the community that would otherwise have been thrown out. We won’t just be listening – we’ll be rolling up our sleeves and volunteering at this month’s gathering. So bring your gardening gloves and wear something comfortable – cuz you’re about to find out how good it feels to help your community. Social After the Meeting: Doll n’ Burgers 323 S Cooper St Jackson. It doesn’t get much better than locally sourced farm-fresh food! We encourage attendees to #supportlocal and check out this fan favorite for dinner after the meeting. About Monthly Large Group Meetups: The Third Thursday of each month offers an opportunity for you to see new places and businesses in Jackson while networking and meeting other young individuals in the area.
