Storytime at the Carnegie Branch.  10:00 am – 10:30 am.  JDL storytimes offer age-appropriate books, music, and activities for babies, toddlers, families, and young children. Most importantly, they help develop everyone’s imaginations! Carnegie Library Storytime: Thursdays, 10 AM (ages 0-5) Storytimes will run weekly from January 11 to May 16.

Mike Crupi Live at Mancino’s.  An evening of live music featuring Mike Slim Crupi coming to you live at Mancino’s from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M  Mancino’s, 3017 Wildwood Avenue, Jackson.

Spring Flower Bulb Show.  Ready for spring? Come enjoy a spectacular showing of daffodils, hyacinths, tulips, amaryllis and other spring flowers inside the Conservatory at Hidden Lake Gardens! Open Tuesdays through Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from March 9-24, closed on Mondays. HLG entry fee gives access to all garden attractions, including bulb show in the conservatory. #2 2024 Maple Festival

Entrance to the Maple Festival is by donation. Stop for the All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast featuring our own pure maple syrup harvested and processed by HHAHS volunteers here in our Sugar Shack. Breakfast also includes sausage and drinks. Join us for a delicious meal and then check out our indoor and outdoor activities! Indoors the children can create maple crafts. All ages can test their maple knowledge with games, activities and stories.  Finally, visit the bake sale to purchase not only baked goods, but also our hand-made maple cotton candy, maple popcorn, maple nuts and maple candy.

#3 JSO-Greetings from Switzerland

French violin virtuoso, Eva Zavaro, joins the Jackson Symphony Orchestra to perform Swiss composer, Pierre Wissmer’s, Second Violin Concerto – a piece she poignantly played in Ukraine at the beginning of the war. Works by Rimsky-Korsakov, Camille Pepin, and Ravel will also be featured and the program will end with Borodin’s richly textured Symphony No. 2. Keep the celebration going after the baton is down and the instruments are put away. Following Saturday evening concerts, these events are a great opportunity to mingle with musicians, guest artists, composers, other symphony fans, and of course, the Maestro.
