Robot Building Party.  6 PM.  Looking for something to do with the family? Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan is excited to invite your family to a robot building party. Don’t worry, the activities will use items you already have around the house and no one has to be a Girl Scout member to join us.  Your daughter will have fun as we use simple materials to create inventive robots together. Plus, all families will leave with instructions to make automated robots at home.  Know other families that would enjoy building robots with us? The American 1 Women’s Expo – A Virtual Event.  Presented by The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce.  March 8-29, 2021.  Virtual.  Go to the Jackson Women’s Expo website, explore the exhibits and vendors and celebrate Jackson’s women leaders!

Jackson District Library Story Walk.  This year’s featured story, Your Grandparents are Ninjas, is a Choose Your Own Adventure book, so you get to make your own decisions about what happens as the story progresses and experience several different endings.  StoryWalk® will run March 1 through May 31 at various locations around Jackson, including the Ella Sharp Museum, the Dahlem Center, the Concord Falling Waters Trail, and the Clark Lake Spirit Trail. Families can drop by at their leisure and follow the story signs that will be present at all locations to enjoy a story in a fun new way.  To learn more about StoryWalk® click here.

Jackson College Potter Center Virtual Show. With performing arts venues closed in the region, the Potter Center at Jackson College will offer a Virtual Series, free for the community.  RED HOT CHILLI PIPERS.  March 19 – 25.  It’s The Red Hot Chilli Pipers – (NOT the Peppers!) — an ensemble consisting of bagpipers, guitarists, keyboards, and drummers — who have been rocking the world with musicianship and a passion for pipes that will leave you breathless.   View show here!
