Friends of the Jackson District Library Holiday Book Sale.  ‘Tis the season for the “Friends of the Library” Holiday Book Sale Thursday, Nov 15:  10am to 8pm.  Friday, Nov 16:  10am to 8pm.  Saturday, Nov 17:  10am to 2pm.  Start your holiday shopping at the Friends’ annual Holiday Book Sale. Come down on Friday from 4 to 8 pm for the Carnegie Library’s Holiday Open House.

Red Cross Blood Drive.  Grace Church, 2692 North Dettman Road.  1 PM to 6:45 PM.  Donors of all blood types, especially type O, are needed this fall after hurricanes Michael and Florence forced the cancellation of about 200 blood drives, causing approximately 7,000 units of blood and platelets to go uncollected. 

Adult Craft Night.  Join the Spring Arbor Branch of the Jackson District Library for an evening of crafts.  The Spring Arbor Branch will be hosting craft night twice a month during October and November. Each session will be a different type of craft. The type of craft will be announced on the 1st of the month.  Limited seating available, so REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Coat Drive and Stuffed Animal Drive.  Join the JSO and the Michigan Shakespeare Festival in a coat drive.  Weatherwax Hall, Jackson Symphony Orchestra.  Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  215 West Michigan Avenue, Jackson.

Christian Music Skate Night.  Christian Music Skate features the latest Christian Music!  This event will be held on Thursday, Nov. 15th 6-8pm. Admission is only $6 with FREE skate rental. Snack Bar, Arcade and Laser Tag will be available! Everyone is invited!.  Skate Mates: $5 + deposit.  Laser Tag 1 Play: $5     Double Play: $8.  Allskate Fun Center, 1313 W. North Street, Jackson.
