Happy Thanksgiving!

Jackson Turkey Trot.  The Jackson TURKEY TROT is an exciting race for all levels and age groups. You are encouraged to join. Choose from a 5K Run, 5K Walk, or a 10K Run. We also offer a Kids Run. The TURKEY TROT race will be professionally chip timed with the results right after the race.  Be sure to invite your friends and guests to join you on this exciting THANKSGIVING Day Run!  First race at 8:45 AM.  All races begin in front of the Planetarium at Ella Sharp Park.  Start your Thanksgiving Day with fresh air and exercise in this final ORS Running Series event of the year! Free Thanksgiving Meal.  Thanksgiving, a day of reflection and a day to give thanks for our many blessings! For some, this will be an extravagant time with lots of food, family, and friends. While for others it can create a time of frustration and anxiety possibly because they aren’t sure where their meal is going to come from!  It is the desire of the Kingdom Life Ministries family that none of our fellow Jackson residents go without a meal on this joyous day!  We invite you to join us on Thanksgiving Day from 11 AM-2 PM as we “Feed Jackson” with a “Meal to remember..!” There is will a great “homemade” meal, clothing give-away, amazing company, and “FUN” for all! By the way…this grand event is all at “NO COST!”  11 AM to 2 PM, Kingdom Life Ministries, 1825 Spring Arbor Road, Jackson.

Nite Lites Christmas Light Show.  Join us for Nite Lites at Michigan International Speedway! Nite Lites is a drive-thru light display spanning 5-miles across MIS property.  November 25 through December 31.  Michigan International Speedway, US-12 Entrances only, 12626 US Highway 12, Brooklyn, MI 49230 (Westbound use Lot 8 Entrance, Eastbound use Graves Family Entrance).  5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday – Thursday | 5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. Friday & Saturday.  Cost: $25 per car (Sunday-Thursday), $30 per car (Friday & Saturday), $45 per minibus, limo, or motorhome, $100 per tour bus.  Cash and credit cards accepted.
