Jackson Turkey Trot.  Celebrating 21 Years!  The TURKEY TROT is an exciting race for all levels and age groups. You are encouraged to join. Choose from a 5K Run, 5K Walk or a 10K Run. We also offer a Kids Run. The TURKEY TROT race will be professionally chip timed with the results right after the race.  The JACKSON TURKEY TROT has become a FAMILY TRADITION for Everyone!!!  Kids Fun Run begins at 8:45 AM, other races begin at 9 AM.  Ella Sharp Park.  Complete details and registration here.

Feed Jackson – Free Thanksgiving Meal by Kingdom Life Ministries.  11 AM to 1 PM.  Kingdom Life Ministries wants to take the weight off your shoulders this Thursday. Actually, we want to fill your plate.  Feed Jackson is a 100% FREE, hot homemade Thanksgiving dinner for anyone who needs it.  Families: Skip the cooking and cleaning. Bring the kids.  Neighbors: If you need a warm meal or just good company, you have a seat at our table. We’re serving homemade turkey, dressing, greens, and all the sides you love. No sign-ups. No questions. Just family.  Martin Luther King Center (1107 Adrian St, Jackson).  Thanksgiving Day |11 AM – 1 PM.  You’re going to leave better!

Thanksgiving Dinner. 1 PM to 7 PM.  Michigan Center Eagles 3634 will be hosting Thanksgiving Dinner again this year. If you have nowhere to go and need a place to enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner where you are not alone, then join us at the Michigan Center Eagles. We will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner with all the fixing. Donation of $10 suggested if you can, if not don’t worry about it, just enjoy dinner with friends and maybe new friends. Michigan Center Eagles, 302 5th Street, Michigan Center.

Nom Nom November – Free Community Meals.  5 PM to 6 PM.   1208 Greenwood Church is opening its doors every weekday from 5–6 PM for the rest of November to provide free meals to anyone in need. Come as you are, enjoy a warm meal, and share community with us. Each day will feature a different menu of the day, prepared with care and open to all. Nite Lites Drive Thru Christmas Display.  It’s an experience like no other, and a tradition you don’t want to miss! The Nite Lites Drive-Thru Christmas Show is approximately 6 1/2 miles long.  November 22 through January 5,.  Sunday – Thursday 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm;  Friday and Saturday 5:30 pm – 10:00 pm.  Open Rain or Snow.  Open both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.  Michigan International Speedway US-12 Entrances only, 12626 US-12, Brooklyn.   Ticket Booth is 15 minute Drive off of US 12.   Entrances Gate 8 Or Gate 14 thru our spectacular Pre Show. WEST bound – use Gate 8 Entrance, EAST bound – use Graves Farm Entrance Gate 14.  Info and tickets here.
