Fall into Film:  Return of the Living Dead (1985).  Just in time for Halloween, don’t miss this cult horror-comedy on the big screen. In Return of the Living Dead (1985), a gas leak reanimates corpses in a Louisville cemetery, unleashing chaos, brains-hungry zombies, and a punk rock soundtrack that helped redefine the undead. Fast, smart, and darkly funny, this film put a new spin on zombie lore and has remained a fan favorite ever since. Written and directed by Dan O’Bannon (screenwriter of Alien), it’s a genre mash-up with attitude, memorable effects, and plenty of over-the-top mayhem. Part of our Fall into Film Thursday night series. Doors open at 6:30 PM; the film begins at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $5 at the door; members attend free.
