The Green Market at Henry Ford.  Summer outdoor market:  Thursdays 9 AM – 2 PM. Corner of E. Mich. Ave. & Waterloo St., Jackson.  We focus on natural, sustainable Michigan produce and products.  All foods and products sold at The Green Market at Henry Ford Allegiance Health are grown and/or produced in Michigan using little or no pesticides, herbicides, inorganic fertilizers, or antibiotics.  This means healthier foods for the greater Jackson community and less pollution for our rivers and lakes.

Leaving Your Photo Legacy Presentation.  6:30 PM.  Who gets your pictures? Who tells your story?  Please join the Ella Sharp Museum for a presentation by Certified Photo Manager, Marianne Behler. You will learn the steps you and your family can take to both preserve and share your photos and family stories now and for your future generations. Marianne will share information that will help you create a plan for your photo legacy. You will hear a message that includes why do anything, what steps to take and how to approach basic organizing to get started and what resources to check out. Whether you have 100 photos or 10,000 and more, whether your photos are printed or digitized, in books or boxes. Homeschool Teacher I.D.  10 AM to 12:15 PM.  Homeschool parents can make a laminated teacher I.D. card using Canva at the Carnegie Library. While parents are creating cards, kids can attend storytime right down the hall. After the cards and storytime, families can enjoy donuts and social time. Homeschool resources will also be available. Call 517-905-1331 to register. If you would like a photo I.D., please bring your photo on a flashdrive, or have it accessible via email. You will have the chance to include a school name on your I.D., so be sure to think of one ahead of time if you don’t already have one! Carnegie Branch, Jackson District Library.

Popcorn Giveaway.  Come down to the Michigan Theatre of Jackson for the popcorn drive up pick up. The time is from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Come down and grab some boxes by the front of the theatre by car.
