The Green Market at Henry Ford.  Summer outdoor market:  Thursdays 9 AM – 2 PM. Corner of E. Mich. Ave. & Waterloo St., Jackson.  We focus on natural, sustainable Michigan produce and products.  All foods and products sold at The Green Market at Henry Ford Allegiance Health are grown and/or produced in Michigan using little or no pesticides, herbicides, inorganic fertilizers, or antibiotics.  This means healthier foods for the greater Jackson community and less pollution for our rivers and lakes.

Blessings/Bake Sale.  South Jackson Community Church is having a HUGE Blessings/Bake Sale on Thursday, September 21st and Friday, September 22nd from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.  So big it is indoors and outdoors!  Many blessings can be found amongst all of the treasures that are available so come and get yours!  South Jackson Community Church, 1024 West Kimmel Road, Jackson.

Root Station at Enchanted Forest.  6 PM to 9 PM.  Hey everyone, we are doing our part to bring fresh music to the Jackson area! Come out and join the fun – we look forward to seeing you!  Enchanted Forest Bar & Grill, 3705 Ann Arbor Road, Jackson.

Jackson Young Professionals September Large Group Meeting.  6 PM.  Join us at this month’s meetup for an evening of networking and socializing.  Ogma Brewing Co., 129 E Michigan Ave., Downtown Jackson.  The Third Thursday of each month offers an opportunity for you to see new places and businesses in Jackson while networking and meeting other young individuals in the area. Open Mic Night at Art 634.  Share your talent at Art 634! Stand Up, Music, Poetry, Storytelling, Theater, or whatever the creative spirit brings. The third Thursday of the month in the Main Gallery at Art 634. Sign-ups will begin at 6:30p, and the mic will open at 7:00p and go until about 10p. Feel free to come when you are able. Coffee, tea, cocoa, water is available **feel free to bring your own preferred food and drink** Also remember to bring a friend or two! Open mic is hosted by Brian Tucker. Diabetes Support Group.  6 PM to 7 PM.  Join our monthly diabetes support group, a free resource for those with diabetes, prediabetes, and their caregivers.  You can learn how to prevent or reduce more serious health issues down the road have a chance to connect with fellow community members.
