Titan for a Day.  Your child can get the full Titan experience as they learn what makes Lumen Christi Catholic School the amazing place it is.  The dates are as follows:  Tuesday, April 12th, and Tuesday, May 10th.  Prospective students who are not currently enrolled in a Jackson Catholic School can experience what it is like to be a Titan for the Day. Each prospective student is matched with a current Lumen Christi student, whom he or she will shadow for either a full day (9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) or half a day (9:00 a.m. – noon).  https://jacksoncatholicschools.org/titan-for-a-day…/

Donation Drive.  Join the Jackson County Department of Health and Human Services in April’s Donation Drive to recognize Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month.  Make your donation of cleaning supplies, personal hygiene products, new blankets, socks/underwear of all sizes, diapers, wipes, baby shampoo/wash, sleep sacks, pack-n-plays.  Donation box in JTV lobby, 152 West Michigan Avenue, Downtown Jackson.  For more information, contact Angela Guadagnina at GuadagniniA@michigan.gov.

Western Schools Community Bond Meeting.  6 PM.  Please join us on Tuesday, April 12th @ 6:00 PM in the Western Community Arts Center or via Zoom for more information on the upcoming bond proposal. You will have an opportunity to learn more about the project and ask questions. The Zoom link can be found on Facebook, Instagram, or the District website. If you are unable to attend, there will be one more community meeting on Tuesday, April 26th @ 6:00 PM.

Young 5s and Kindergarten Round Up at Paragon.  Incoming Young Five and Kindergarten students are encouraged to join us for Round Up on April 12th and 13th. Hanover-Horton School District Kindergarten Round-Up.  9:15 AM to 2:45 PM, April 11th, 12th, and 13th.  Appointments can be made by calling the Elementary School at 517-563-0103.  Please bring your student, their immunization record and an official birth certificate to the appointment.  All children who turn 5 on or before September 1, 2022 are eligible for enrollment.  Find out more here.

ASL at JDL.  Stop by any Jackson District Library branch to explore American Sign Language with flash cards featuring beginning phrases in recognition of National American Sign Language day.
