
Biotechnology in Healthcare Seminar. 6 PM. Advances in biotechnology continue to revolutionize healthcare. Jackson College invites the community to a special seminar, Biotechnology in Healthcare. Join us at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 23 in the Bert Walker Hall Community Rooms, 144-145. Learn from a panel of experts who will shed light on the latest breakthroughs in biotechnology, a field that uses living organisms and biological systems to develop products and technologies to improve human health, agriculture, industry and the environment. We have invited speakers who will summarize some of the recent advancements in biotechnology (e.g., epigenetics, bioinformatics, CRISPR-Cas9 technology, microbiome research), specifically as they relate to healthcare.
