Jackson Public Schools Kindergarten & Young Fives Round-Up.  August 17-20, 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM.  Masks MUST be worn at all times.  Events will be outside rain or shine.  Free T-shirts will be available and two bikes will be given away.  Must arrive by last name of child in these time slots:  A-G  4:30 to 5:30 PM.  H-N 5:30 to 6:30 PM.  O-Z  6:30 to 7:30 PM.  Monday, 8/17:  Northeast.  Tuesday, 8/18:  Dibble.  Wednesday, 8/19:  Sharp.  Thursday, 8/20:  Cascades and JPS Montessori.  Register online at jpsk12.org/apply.

Salvation Army Food Pantry.  The Salvation Army of Jackson County Food Pantry Hours:  Regular Pantry Hours are 10 am-noon and 1-2 pm Monday through Thursday.  Food Boxes are available every 30 days.*In an emergency food may be provided from 2-4:30 pm -please call ahead – 517-782-7185.  The Fresh Food Initiative (FFI) is every Monday from 9-10:30 am -through September 28. FFI is closed on Labor Day.  FFI is available to any one in need – please bring ID.

Jackson YMCA Outdoor Exercise Classes.  Join the outdoor group exercise classes at the downtown Jackson YMCA.  Free for members, $5 for most classes for non-members.  Bring a mat, water bottle and towel.  Complete schedule at jacksonymca.org
