Primary Election Day.  The Michigan State Primary Election is taking place on August 2.  Citizens in Jackson County will be voting on a variety of state and local offices, along with township, school and authority proposals.  To find your polling location and the new districts, visit michigan.gov/sos or vote411.org.  At both sites, you can enter your address, see what’s on your ballot, check your voter registration, and find your polling place.

Food Truck Tuesday.  11 AM to 1 PM. Tons of food and drink with great entertainment provided by local country star Donnie Allen.  More than a dozen food trucks with a large variety of choices.  Horace Blackman Park, Downtown Jackson.

Hearing & Vision Clinic.  The Jackson County Health Department is hosting Hearing & Vision Clinics every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during July and August from 1 PM to 4:30 PM.  Clinic times are available by appointment only.  There is no cost and the clinic is open to everyone, infants through adults.  For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 517-788-4395 or text 517-867-0077.  Jackson County Health Department, 1715 Lansing Avenue, Jackson, Room 246.

JPEC Open House.  5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.  Mark your calendars for our next open house happening on Tuesday, August 2nd from 5:30-6:30pm!  This is a time for families to come and ask questions and tour our facilities!
