Interactive Projection Mapped Mural Display at Ironbark.  7 PM to 10 PM.  New Year, New Wall!  Join us Tuesday February, 7th from 7 PM to 10 PM for a special interactive art installation to celebrate Saint Ick’s 3rd annual mural at Ironbark Brewing Company.  This is an exciting multimedia collaboration between local visual artists Saint Ick and Matt Rozensky months in the making. Our freshly painted mural will be brought to life with projection mapped motion graphics designed by both artists. A specially programmed controller will be set up for guests to customize the colors, textures and effects of each layer of the mural to their liking and make it their own.  The mural also reacts to music and it also happens to be on display on Turntable Tuesday. Saint Ick will be spinning a tasty selection of vinyl records all night long. Come on down, enjoy a pint and engage with this special interactive piece!  2610 Kibby Road, Jackson.

Toddlers & Trinkets:  Make & Take Art Workshop.  One-Day Workshops, Tuesday, 4:30 to 5:30 PM.  Ages 2 to 5 years old with parent or caregiver.  Create new projects at each workshop:  Tuesday, February 7 – “Be My Valentine”.  Join your child in a hands-on art workshop. It’s a Make & Take, so when you finish your project, off you go! No need to stay the full hour. Wear your art clothes, we may get messy! Your instructor will inspire creative fun. Create fanciful art pieces from an array of colorful objects. What’s a Zine?  6 PM.  Join us at the Eastern Branch on February 7 at 6 PM to learn about zines (like mini magazines!) and make your own.  All ages are welcome.  Eastern Branch, Jackson District Library.

10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s.  2 PM to 5 PM.  Join us at the Summit Branch to learn how to recognize common signs of Alzheimer’s; how to approach someone about memory concerns; the importance of early detection and benefits of a diagnosis; possible tests and assessments for the diagnostic process; and Alzheimer’s resources.  Presented by Alzheimer’s Association Michigan Chapter.  This program is a Community Coffee Time event. Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-5 PM at the Summit Branch and Wednesdays from 10-11:30 AM at the Carnegie Library for coffee conversation, weekly activities and community resource events

Eastern Branch Storytime.  11:00 am – 11:30 am.  Jackson District Library storytimes offer age-appropriate books, music, and activities for babies, toddlers, families, and young children. Most importantly, they help develop everyone’s imagination! Eastern Branch Storytime: Tuesdays, 11 AM (ages 0-5)  Storytimes will run weekly through March 3.
