Jackson College Winter Welcome Week:  Jet Jam. 2 PM to 5 PM.  Bert Walker Hall, Room 144, Jackson College Central Campus. Get to know about the resources, organizations and opportunities available to you as a Jackson College student!  This is an open house style event — drop in anytime.

Puffs Open Auditions. 5 PM.  Michael Baughman Theatre, Potter Center.  Jackson College Theatre presents open auditions for the spring production of Puffs or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic. Open to all JC students, staff and community members.  Auditions are Tuesday and Wednesday at 5 PM.  Learn more and sign up here.

Idiocracy – Movie Night at the Michigan Theatre.  7 PM.  Join us for a special screening of Idiocracy, the cult classic comedy from director Mike Judge (Office Space, Beavis and Butt-Head). This sharp satire imagines a future where society has… let’s just say, taken a turn for the absurd. With biting humor and outrageous scenarios, it’s a film that feels as timely as ever—and it’s best enjoyed with an audience! Tickets are just $5, so grab your friends and come experience the hilarity on the big screen in our historic, beautifully restored theatre. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Bundle Up with Books. Get into the swing of 2025 and build strong reading habits with a reading challenge!  Bundle Up With Books runs during the month of January and participants can read 4 hours to receive their choice of a Jackson District Library winter hat or maze pen, and be entered into a drawing to win a $50 Visa gift card.
