JCISD Jackson County Educator & School Staff Virtual Job Fair. 11 AM to 5 PM. Aspiring teachers, veteran educators, and job seekers ready to make a career change will be able to meet and interview with more than a dozen educational institutions in a virtual setting. The Jackson County Educator & School Staff Virtual Job Fair, a collaboration between the Jackson County Intermediate School District, Michigan Works! Southeast and the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity, will take place on Tuesday, March 15, from 11am – 5pm. Nearly 20 employers are participating, including several public, private and charter schools, early childhood centers, and Jackson College. Positions range from teachers, substitute teachers and administrators, to bus drivers, paraprofessionals, and specialized support staff. Free Tax Help. Now through early April, you can stop by the Carnegie Library computer lab for free help preparing your 2021 tax returns on the following days and times:
Mondays: 4-7 PM
Tuesdays: 1-4 PM
Wednesdays: 1-7 PM
Saturdays: 10 AM – 1 PM
