JCISD Jackson County Educator & School Staff Virtual Job Fair.  11 AM to 5 PM.  Aspiring teachers, veteran educators, and job seekers ready to make a career change will be able to meet and interview with more than a dozen educational institutions in a virtual setting.   The Jackson County Educator & School Staff Virtual Job Fair, a collaboration between the Jackson County Intermediate School District, Michigan Works! Southeast and the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity, will take place on Tuesday, March 15, from 11am – 5pm.   Nearly 20 employers are participating, including several public, private and charter schools, early childhood centers, and Jackson College. Positions range from teachers, substitute teachers and administrators, to bus drivers, paraprofessionals, and specialized support staff.  Job seekers can register for the Jackson County Educator & School Staff Virtual Job Fair at jobfair.jcisd.org.

East Jackson Community Schools Art Show.  Check out the budding young artists in your community! East Jackson Community Schools will display artwork in the Knibloe Room from now through March 25. Stop in to put an award winning ribbon on your favorite piece of art!  Eastern Branch, Jackson District Library, 3125 East Michigan Avenue, Jackson.

Winter Concert.  7 PM to 8:30 PM.   Lumen Christi Vocal Music presents:   Winter Concert of Vocal Ensembles and Concert Band.  All are welcome!  Lumen Christi Catholic School, 3483 Spring Arbor Rd, Jackson.

Free Tax Help.  Now through early April, you can stop by the Carnegie Library computer lab for free help preparing your 2021 tax returns on the following days and times:

Mondays: 4-7 PM

Tuesdays: 1-4 PM

Wednesdays: 1-7 PM

Saturdays: 10 AM – 1 PM
